The water is clean looking and smelling and boating is fun here.
While the beach was cool and the surrounding area nice the campground really lacked. It was more RV park than campground and the spot we got had ZERO shade. It was 90°+ that weekend. There was nothing online to show what it looked like or what our spot was like. We paid $70 for 2 nights which was more than what I felt it was worth. It was a miserable weekend :/ sidenote:: we did not bring a boat so we don't anything about how the lake it
We have been permanent season campers for 5 years now, irs our home away from home. The people are nice, the rangers and the park workers make you feel like part of their family. Its great for our kids, they have alot to keep them busy.
Fantastic family fun place. We go multiple times each year.
